That's me. It is so much easier on a weekday and you get better service because the clerks aren't slammed.

Lenox hosts events outside of just shopping mall; fireworks, Macy tree lighting, etc. Lenox is a pet of Atlanta, as it has survived the opening and closing of many malls in metro Atlanta.

I almost never go to North Point as it's too far for me.
Apparently you didn't when you used this statement to bolster your argument:

"Dillards is high on my list, though, and I have also come to like Von Maur, particularly their clearance racks, and those are Perimeter-only stores."
And for some Atlantic Station and Northpoint are quite convenient. Just not you.

Oh jeez, give it a rest. They are Perimeter-only stores when the two malls under comparison, per the title of the thread, are Lenox and Perimeter.

I will if you will. I responded with a simple correction of your statement, and you are the one that ran with it.

Which mall are you thinking of, Aventura or Bal Harbor?

At any rate, Miami (and Orlando) are totally different markets due to tourism alone.

With the exception of the new Brickell City Centre (with one smallish Saks as their anchor), none of the malls in Miami are surrounded by luxury Hotels the way Lenox Square is. If people in the Southeast want to go on a shopping spree, they tend to go to Lenox/Phipps/Buckhead Atlanta. This includes Northern Florida residents, who tend to avoid Miami.

There's nothing that stands out in either to differentiate them for me. But when I have guests and they want to go shopping, I take them to Lenox because of name/ brand recognition and the traffic isn't nearly as bad as perimeter.

Lenox is bigger but Perimeter is a fine place to shop.
