I think the Gulch would make a good central entertainment district with live music venues that caters to more than generic hip hop, edm, etc. I would love of a more Latin, Jazz, Country, Caribbean, and Soulful live music mix without driving all over the place.
Atlanta is right in line with every other major city in this regard. None of them - be it NYC, LA, DC, Tokyo etc have only one single large nightlife area.

Only smaller towns do that. Often times that one area is really the only place those smaller cities have.

Do you mean conversational ? I agree, people are pretty friendly and talkable here for the most part in the bars, especially for such a large City.

I don't know why the assumption has been made that I am singling out Atlanta. Please dont assume. The o.p. Asked about nightlife in Atl and I responded. I have traveled to differernt states and haved lived in other states. I have also been to other countries...you shouldnt make assumptions. And you keep talking about nyc. Montreal has pretty good transit options at night. It isnt 24/7 but it comes pretty near as they have night buses.

Please. Atlanta shyts on Houston nightlife. We have more walkable nightlife districts, we have a later last call (lol at Houston 1:30am last call), we have much better clubs, much more variety, more festivals, more concerts, better strip clubs, etc.

You haven't even been to 97% of the clubs here because you just made at thread a few months ago and being broke with no place to stay. And you dont know shyt about Atlanta nightlife.

Btw our nightlife is better than Dallas and Houston combined

Has your financial situation gotten better? If so, please make the attempt to socialize more. You can do so through meetup. So far I havent met anyone I would call a friend at a meetup but the people for the most part are friendly and want to have a conversation. Thats a start and the hope is that eventually you will find people you click with.

It literally zips you right up to the front door.

Same with the Streetcar and the Edgewood district. Doesn't get much easier than that.
There is no nightlife in Underground
