I guess most people know this, but here's the data.

Average commute times in the ATL are around 30 minutes. Fulton does a little better at 27 minutes.

My average is about 45 minutes, in each direction. 285/400 commute, Vinings to Alpharetta. Heavily depends on when I leave. Usually worse in the evenings. Can easily be an hour in the evenings, or longer.

Without any congestion, like at 8 PM or something, it's about 30 minutes.

It sucks. But some others I work with have it even worse.

Erk, you've got one of the most congested routes.

I guess it's all the folks with short commutes who keep the average fairly low.

Well, I am fine with people who live in the suburbs driving in the city as long as they don't speed or run roughshod over the local taxpayers.

Dont know about that with all the drug addicts from the suburbs coming ITP to buy drugs, all the drug cartels OTP, etc. OTP accounts for a lot of the crime ITP. Dont expand MARTA into the suburbs because it will cause the crime to increase ITP

My commute is currently about 20 minutes (8.5 miles) going from 7 miles OTP to just baaarely ITP. I'm lucky in that I have a couple of alternatives I can take depending on the day/time.

My commute to my last job was 4 miles (12-15 minutes). 23 minutes by bicycle.

Before that I was commuting 20-45 minutes.
