I'm pretty sure renting very expensive property for a store is NOT in Aldi's business model.

On a side note what happened to that organic store from Birmingham?
Mamoes from Birmingham that was on 10th and Peachtree closed. It was poorly setup and poorly stocked.
I am leery of Kroger because of the store they had at Brookwood-it was not well planned and poorly excecuted.

Nah. I misread thinking someone was suggesting a Aldi in a Midtown location which would make no sense at all.

an Aldi grocery store could work in that area if the people there want to save money on groceries. I think another place it could work would be in downtown, and you have GSU right there and I am sure many of the students are interested in saving money.

Loving these midtown development plans! Lets get more foot traffic happening on the midtown mile. More mid-rises and especially more street level vending.

And I'm sure Publix would very much welcome that.
