cq- there is a fuel station at the kroger a little further down moreland (I didn't realise there was one that close to ATL since the only ones I've seen are in the outer suburbs).
Just outside the city limits. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Atlan...orgia&t=m&z=16
The beer/wine section at the hipster Kroger is huge. I really like that they carry a lot of craft beers there.

I like Publix's sandwiches. Their rotisserie chicken is seasoned pretty well. They also have a great bakery section. Cannolis & shicaccia bread for the win.

On the other hand, Kroger got decent prices. Caroline/Moreland Kroger has a pretty decent cafeteria-style line as well.

That's my take.

They are both the same to me. Kroger used to have the edge until they stopped opening 24/7 (since when did they implement this???). I dont have a Kroger Plus card, but the cashier is kind enough to use their own so that I get the discounted prices.

Everything is cooked from frozen except for the white, pumpernickel, and multigrain breads. All those breads are made fresh from dough the day before.

The Edgewood Kroger is 24/7.

For the items I buy, Kroger is cheaper and more convenient for me and it just has more to choose from grocery items or not. Publix stores are also near, but I go for the cheaper prices; Publix costs more on almost anything, even its own brand items. The Krogers and Publix near where I live and work are about the same in customer service and accessibility. I like Publix' deli better for the occasional birthday cake or sub sandwich.

Other choices: For all out cheap food, I go to Aldi's for canned goods or the Dollar store for a few select food items. I occasionally buy from Costco, but much of it is in large bulk which does not do much good. I have started to shop a bit more at Target's grocery stores, but not often enough on a regular basis.

I know Walmart is cheaper for groceries, but I cannot stand shopping there, so I completely avoid Walmart as much as possible. For produce, I try to go to Farmer's markets or H Mart.

Whole Foods is just way too expensive for almost anything in my book; I only go there to find a hard to find sauce or herb. I also like Trader Joe's for a few items, but no major purchases.

I think a lot of the Kroger stores out in the 'burbs stopped being open 24/7 to save money. That is nice they let you use their plus cards when you can.

Interesting. I think all three of the Krogers by us are 24x7 (Floyd Road, South Cobb, Atlanta Road). I could be wrong about the Floyd Road store, tho.

Floyd Road is 24/7. I was just there around January 10 or so.
