Which district in FL? There are a large number of districts in Florida, some decent and others not.

Please forgive me for asking, because the internet is a strange place, is English your and/or the child's first language? If it is not, and you add special needs to the mix, GA schools really struggle. You are probably better served in most S. Florida districts than in GA. There is very little in the way of bilingual support at most schools.

IMO East Cobb schools are superior to the schools we experienced in FL, for kids at all places on the spectrum. I don't know for sure about the ESL program, but I hear many different languages spoken by parents at the schools here. I am happy with the special ed. program. Good luck.

Stay away from DeKalb. Big cuts in Special ed and all translators were just laid off.
