I just found out this week that my EUC benefit year expired and I did not realize it until I had certified this past Monday and the next day I checked the status of my benefits only to see that I needed to contact my career center, so to make a long story short the lady told me that I would need to go online to submit a "regular claim", so I did, but my question is how long does it take for everything to get processed and for my benefits to start back up again? I was in the middle of my 4th tier and had 7 weeks left, but because it was in the middle of my benefit year expiring I had to submit a new claim. Oh and does the benefit amount stay the same or will it be decreased, I am currently receiving $255 per week. This is really frustrating because I never knew that I needed to submit another claim, I just thought that I would continue to certify without any issues, they never sent me a letter or notified me about anything. Any advise that I could get for my questions would be greatly appreciated!
