Based on this article, it seems like Publix and Children's Healthcare are two of the best places to work in Atlanta.

I heard managers (and not just store managers, but produce managers, meat managers, etc.) can make into 6 figures at Publix.

I didn't believe it, so I asked someone I know who worked there. He said it is true and it's a good company to work for, but you have to be willing to work hard as they will work these people long hours, especially during holiday times when more people are shopping.

Part-time employees are treated like crap and do not receive the benefits that full-time employees get. True that managers make upwards of 6 figures, but they must work over 50 hours and the overtime is very confusing. Managers work 12-hour shifts.
Well I worked hard, always on-time, and never called out, but it still took someone leaving for me to get into a full-time position. I left Publix when I finally got a "big-boy job" and never looked back. In fact I don't even shop there. Still got my 5.5 shares from the 6 months I worked full-time.

Default Children's Healthcare

I'm actually considering a job at Children's Healthcare. I have a friend that started there a couple of months back and he loves it. I would obviously have to relocate since I'm in Indianapolis now but that is not a problem. What can anybody tell me about working at CHOA? BTW, it would be a leadership position in IT. Thanks!
