Tyler Perry needs extras for yet another Madea movie | The Buzz

He keeps churning them out. Since I live just on the outskirts of Atlanta Metro, and am recently unemployed, I could not resist emailing my submission.
Anyone else in?

I would think you need a pretty stellar resume to get into a Madea movie.

So unless you were an extra in a film like Ernest Scared Stupid or Kazaam, you probably shouldn't waste your time. You can't go from 0 to 60 on your first film, ya know?

ATLTJL,

Being an extra in a movie requires NO experience. An extra is someone who fills up space. Example: If a scene is at a bank, they need extra's to be in the teller line, etc. Or, if the scene was at a fast food restaurant, they would need extras to be in the background eating, etc. An extra is not a professional actor. Extra do not have speaking roles.

What sort of bottom-feeding mouth breathers pay to watch this garbage? It is a sad commentary on our society.

I asked the same question and was told the humor is highly culturally specific. Kind of like Ernest for rednecks, just different.

What's even more foolish and sad is GROWN people who actually believe movies, tv shows, songs, etc can represent them. No one can represent YOU, YOU represent yourself.
