What are your thoughts or concerns?
Are they really selling it as a "Penny" sales tax?

Idk about it being a MUST for a city of 5 million people, but it is about time there are some other transit options here. And now tourists will be able to go to almost all the attractions downtown without needing a car...a connection that many tourists love.

But for some odd reason, people don't like to ride them...as if it's only for the lower class or something

Am I correct that the "streetcars" will be buses that are attached to electrical wires above the street? There won't actually be tracks, right?

I am glad the city is starting somewhere. If the city does nothing, the metro area will start declining.

As the old saying goes, "You have to crawl before you walk"!

I think you are being a bit trite. I don't see metro Atlanta going into decline without streetcars. Running people around Downtown or even Midtown on rails is not the economic engine metro Atlanta's been looking for to sustain itself.
