Hello All- Can someone give me some insight in things to do in areas neighboring EAV. I understand they are some nearby neighborhoods that are maintained well. What are the names of those neighborhoods? Also, how far away from EAV are they? Are there any big parks, restaurants yes chain restaurants 2, movies, attractions and things to do in close proximity to EAV. The closest plaza I saw was Edgewood. Are there any other plazas? On another note what police dept is in charge of the 30316 zip code? What is the nearest hospital that you will actually walk out of after seeking treatment? I would appreciate your expertise on the area & surrounding neighborhoods. Thank You Kindly

It might be helpful if you posted what EAV is as not everyone in the area is going to be aware of it.

Grant Park, Ormewood, Kirkwood, East Lake
Little 5 Points (up Moreland).

We like going to the Zoo at Grant Park just as a place to take a nice stroll, we have a membership there. Candler Park is not far off, Brownwood Park is ok, but still needs a lot of work. The Village is a good place to browse and eat as is Little 5. Edgewood provides all the big brand shopping you could want. The neighborhood heading towards Decatur is dotted with great little parks.

Oh and the plaza across Moreland is nice. Lil Azio there.

AND you are in great proximity to THE STARLIGHT DRIVE-IN!!!! The best place to see a movie in Atlanta hands down!

Welcom to Starlight Six Drive-In!

Police is a mix of Dekalb County and City of Atlanta depending on where you are. We go to Emory when we need to go to the emergency room etc. (rare)
