LOL! Source? Link? Proof?

Newsflash! The "last 2010 census" has not even been FINALIZED yet, so fail. And please inform us just exactly which major Universities even exist in Arlington, Carmel, Naperville & Highlands Ranch? Fail, again.

Your bitterness on living here has been noted time and time again, but it takes more than a quick search and a sloppy cut and paste job to prove such a weak point. Fail, yet again.

It is amazing what people are willing to accept without any proof. The truth is the so-called educated workforce is not getting hired because if that was the case, we wouldnt be taking one step forward and two back. Unemployment rate, anyone? Need proof? Go to GaDOL, Census Bureau and for pete's sakes READ the threads of real people and real life events.

This article pertains to decade-old data. That was a completely different generation, came before gen Y. That was also before the whole sustainability movement of this past decade that attracted the 20-30 year olds to properly planned cities. Atlanta is not even on the radar with exception to fringe minority groups. There may be people coming here form NY, but I'm willing to bank my net worth that only a small fraction of them are college educated . . . . . . .

Ohhhh Snap! Not even any mentioning of any city in the South!! Daaammmnnn!!

Where do the country's most educated citizens live? In a recent report, the Brookings Institute analyzed 2008 American Community Survey data against 1990 Census data to find out. The verdict? Washington, D.C. remains the most-educated metro area in the country -- 46.8 percent of its populace over the age of 25 has a bachelor's degree (see an interactive map of Brookings' data here.) In June, John Carrol University graduate student Rob Pitingolo's ranking of cities by "educational attainment density" determined that San Francisco was the best-educated city.

Very good point, in the real world, Atlanta is known for one thing: Hip Hop Hip Hop Hip Hop.

Anyone with an education that wants city living is not going to even put Atlanta on their list anymore, especially after the 2008 financial meltdown.

This has just become so tiresome. If you don't have anything but comments like this to offer the Atlanta forum, why you do something novel like visit your own? Or better yet, go catch up on reruns of Saved By The Bell?

But really it isn't tiresome. It's much needed. There are many comments posted by juveniles on this forum that exaggerate or skew crime rates or STD rates or illiteracy rates in other cities in efforts to make Atlanta look good.

If it were really tiresome for you to read all negative posts, then I would like to see the same feigned outrage toward these other posters rather than just singling out the comments that make Atlanta look bad.

My posts are well-written, articulate and raise many valid issues that other people have found to be troubling about Atlanta. Just because it pains some on here to read them does not mean I should be intimidated into silence.
