'Sandy Springs'. It is north of dowtown. It is expensive.

Please respond to the following questions:

1. Budget
2. House/Condo/Townhome?
3. Employment Status(commute/work from home)
Where will your place of employment be?

4. Children(public school vs. private)
5. Suburban or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of the two
6. Easy access to public transit, important or not?
7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood.

It's a pretty diverse city....you have gigantic expensive estates in the southern part of the city, and then tons of lower rent apartments and older ranch-style homes in the northern part. Roswell Rd. is the main drag and it's pretty cluttered and you get a fairly decent about of riff-raff walking around. Schools are pretty hit-or-miss, I think, some are ok, others suck (from what I understand). It's a good area to commute into town from, and there are plenty of restaurants and places to have drinks. Most of the neighborhoods have been around for 30+ years, so a lot of mature trees.

Its one of the better areas in Atlanta. Great neighborhoods, some of which are very expensive. Some of the schools in the area are rated tops in the state (Heards Ferry Elem, Riverwood HS). Shopping is close by with Buckhead and Perimeter both close. Decent restaurants. Close to top hospitals.

I'm from Atlanta and know the city very well. This is where I'd like to end up.
