Just moved back to Atlanta after being gone for almost 2 years and I'm in Decatur...

Trying to figure out what cable provider I should go with? Any suggestions? Is there a new provider called "Clear"?

Most areas within the metro will provide you with only one choice for cable companies. In my area, for example, that choice is Comcast, and I've been quite happy with them for the most part.

We're watching Netflix almost exclusively now, tho. It's the main thing we use our Xbox 360 for.

Ive looked into Clear and I like what it offer's Have not switched over to it, but it sounds good. If you are a Watch most of your TV thru netflix and xbox you can do fine on Clear (in theory). Also HULU and a lot of the TV station websites let you watch current TV shows thru your computer.

Have not tried it but you can in theory move Tivo Show accross ther internet to your PC and watch them on you PC, if you have a friend who will allow you access to there tivo network

Definitely NOT charter. Im considering moving just because I HATE the fact that theyre the only option here aside from directtv. My bill is almost $200 bucks a month for internet and cable.

I live in the Decatur area and have bounced back and forth between Comcast and DirectTV. I have been happy with both; I think I actually prefer DTV, but Comcast is rolingo ut a new branding called Xfinity and they are offering basic cable and high speed internet for $29.99/month for a year. I had been considering downgrading my cable anyway so I think that will work for me.

Already launched in many areas such as mine. Once they complete the infrastructure upgrades, they are rolling out the new services and branding. I think I read that all of the Atlanta area should be rolled out by end of year.

Already rolled out in South Cobb. My combined HD Digital Basic+Internet+Phone package is now $129.95 a month, and the HD DVR monthly fee went down to $9.95 from $14.95.

I may be a few pennies off; this is from memory.
