LOL...atheism has everything to do with Darwinnian Evolution . In fact, the very theoretical concept is an attempt to explain the many species apart from an intelligent willful personal Creator (God) . My little historical fact that these 20th century Dictators were Atheists practicing atheism to its horrific end, is proof that the Darwinnian Evolution fallacy is the most dangerous THEORY ever devised by evil Man and used to maximize political control over the masses to eradicate the so called 'weaker races' . It would have been better for them to have believed in Big Foot than for them to exterminate over a hundred million because they were seen as unworthy without a shred of human dignity . And, Theists who embrace Darwinnian Evolution should be ashamed as well. http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...w=1093&bih=477

You do know that atheists have been around long before the TOE was ever introduced, right? For someone who claims to have been an atheist, you sure don't have a clue as to what one is.....

How does a true Atheist who believes mankind is just one big cosmic accident derived from an undignified, unpurposed, non meaningful pond protozoa coming from dead raw chemicals in the atmosphere ... not keep in step with that atheist construct , behaviorily, all of their daily lives and instead choose to do noble humanitarian works as if the fundamental atheistic construct were completely false and a lie ?
Atheism does not even address origins. And what does any of that have to do with weather or not we choose to do humanitarian work. Isn't it you guys who place more importance in "beliefs" over works?

On the contrary, it is you who needs to learn much more about the atheism you claim you follow and have faith in. Most atheists dont really dig that deep into their faith and just want the personal philsophical benefits that it offers.

No, your atheist faith by default if not vocally, addresses affirmative beliefs concerning origins of the universe, origins of first life , the meaning of humanity, and other philosophical concerns. Its just that you like so many other atheists want to keep it at a surface ('we dont believe in God') excusal level. Every human being who is alive presently wonders about such origins and has formed an opinion of such --- our existence begs such questioning .

There is nothing to "follow" or have "faith" in regarding atheism. Philosophical benefits? What are you talking about???

Since I have no idea regarding origins etc, and do not proclaim to know, I do not have an "affirmative belief" regarding such. What "faith" and affirmative beliefs are you referring to? Everyone has formed an opinion as such? Man, the bs is getting deep in here tonight....

When christian co-workers have pulled out their trump card in trying to convince me (after a lame "Have you read the bible?"), the trump card is, "Where do you think all of this came from?" and I say, "I have no idea, but your answer doesn't make sense at all." (I also point out that the human reproductive system is proof against intelligent design).

It is pretty obvious that 007 turned his back on his god for awhile so he could live a rather degenerate lifestyle for awhile and thinks this amounts to atheism.
It's also pretty obvious that since all the posts to him haven't made one dent , he can only identify with what(and why) he did himself and cannot allow for that fact that everybody isn't exactly like him.
The epitome of close mindedness
