The second picture, I know many Singaporeans of Chinese descent (hereby known as Chinese-Singaporean like the term Chinese-American), who look exactly like her.
Only big time idiots in Singapore (which describes 99% of people in Singapore) believe that by (your ancestors) moving away, you can change the way you look.
P/s: before you think I'm a white jackass just talking out of my ass, I'm Chinese-American with 1/2 of my family members in Singapore. The other 1/2 from mom's side lived in California for three generations.

All Southeast Asia nations seem to be multi-ethnic to me.
Well Thailand is also quite diverse...those in Isaan are really Lao ethnically. There are the Malays in the South, Chinese Thai, Central Thai, Northern Thai, minorities like Karen and Hmong. Many are mixed too. Vietnam is overwhelmingly Vietnamese but the look of the people varies.
