Which one?

I can't remember the name. Sorry.
I just remember passing it by a couple of times while house hunting.
I'm not sure how many there are in Ft. Smith but it was sorta inside town, not on the outskirts.

I don't recommend that anyone sit in their living room as their house burns down.

There are at least six in Fort Smith. The National Cemetery is by Garrison Avenue; that one is very distinguishable by all of the white markers. They are about to expand this cemetery by demolishing Andrews Field.

They have that Tales From the Crypt thing every year at one of them.
Do you know if you were very close to the college LibertysFate? Or maybe the one by Sparks with the crazy looking stone wall around it. Also the second time your house burned it wasn't an accident, what happened?!

That is actually in Van Buren. It is at historic Fairview Cemetery on Log Town Hill. A very cool cemetery to visit if that is your thing.

Probably the U.S. National Cemetery. It is a very pretty place and has graves dating back to the early 1800s.

Kind of sad when the biggest draw of a town is the cemetery, of course the city is pretty dead.

You think the biggetst draw to Van Buren is the cemetery? I am not contending that VB is a tourist mecca, but it has a very lovely, historic downtown and excursion train.

I thought we were talking about Fort Smith. Van Buren does have a pretty downtown and I am told that at one time they had good shops there, but not now. A lot of the shops just don't have anything good to buy. It would help the county was not dry, although you can still get beer at sisters. I live in VB. Saying VB is not a tourist mecca is an under statement.
