I just got this in an email and wondered what you guys think of it?

It seems like a noble effort but as of yet I haven't read much of it. I figured I'll discover more about it through comments on the forum.

I like its focus on creating jobs that pay well, offer benefits, and great opportunity. I question some of the tax breaks, yet again, to some business but do see an upside including those business friendly incentives that lured the solar industry headquarters to Phoenix and new hospitals and research facilities. This package seems to have a lot of pro-business Texas like incentives that have helped to create jobs in that state and to sustain them as one of the healthiest states during this recession. I'll have to print it and read the whole thing. Thanks for posting it on the forum.

The tax incentives are always a plus to businesses looking to relocate, as are the waving of development fees, or a reduction in them for those wanting to build a new facility.

Saw it on the news. Haven't read the details but it sounds like a great plan... anything that promotes companies to hire is good.

I will be speaking with the Arizona Economic group and hopefully Hon Gov. Brewer fairly soon to make this work (after bending the new rules slightly). Let's hope they take me up on the plan, so Arizona can become a model for the other states to follow... All within six months to a year. JL MEALER
