Voters in LA passed Measure B, a new law that requires the use of condoms in all adult films made in LA. There has been chatter that the adult industry may skip out on LA and move. Arizona is one of the rumored possible destinations (along with Vegas and Florida).

How would you feel about the adult film industry moving to AZ? Even if you disagree on moral grounds or simply don't care for the product, keep in mind that it's a billion dollar industry. Companies hire film crews, transportation, catering, rent/buy buildings and much more. The revenue could really help AZ. What say you?

Some adult films are already made here. Some present/past adult film stars live here or have lived here. If more of that happened, it wouldn't be touted publicly. So no, I don't have a problem with it.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. They're talking about moving the entire industry. Adult films are made all over but the industry is still based in Los Angeles.

It's pretty tough to move an entire industry. That's a lot of people to relocate. Pasadena isn't covered by measure B and is only about 30 minutes from San Fernando Valley. They'll probably go there until they can get the measure overturned by the courts... or maybe some of them will just abide by the ruling. They want it to be a legitimate industry, then they should follow worker safety regulations. We're required to wear a hard-hat on a construction site...
The measure never would have been brought up if they hadn't had some actors exposed to HIV.

The more interesting part of the new measure is it would require inspectors from the department of public health to do periodic on-set inspections. I guess that beats doing TB tests down at the free clinic.

I don't know how one could even ask the question?

We're a "law and order" state that is run primarily by those on social security.

The bedroom *is* where government belongs, according to the voters...

Fornicatin'... That's only for married people, one man, one woman - done in one position, in silence, so the neighbors don't hear.. And only for the express purpose of creating children, not for fun!

The Los Angeles County ordinance requiring use of condoms in adult films that was adopted by voters on Tuesday would not be enforced in Pasadena, Long Beach or Vernon because those cities operate their own public health departments.

How many Arizona cities have their own health department?

They've been in North Scottsdale for years. One of my neighbors produces adult films here in the Valley. I honestly wouldn't care if the industry continued to grow here. If that's the way people choose to earn a living, so be it.

The porn making scene would be better in Vegas IMHO.

Bob Crain (Hogan's Hero's) was involved in the industry in Arizona a couple of decades back. It cost him his life.
