Since the new bridge opened there is not much time difference. I normally take 95, you just have to watch your speed around Searchlight and Needles. After the Laughlin turn-off the road becomes single lane all the way to I-40 but over-taking isn't a problem. Anthem to the London Bridge Resort can be done in one hour and fifty-one minutes.

Yes 95 is the best route to Havasu but as posted you have a couple several Mp 9 on I-40 in Az and head south into Havasu.
or
Hook a left like you are going to Laughlin before ya get there make a right and head over and take the south bridge into Mohave Valley eliminating the mess in Bullhead. take a right when ya get across the river. Continue south cross the river into Needles at the stop sign turn right and follow the signs to I-40. Before you get to the river at the AM PM you can turn left and over through Golden Shores but it is twisty and takes some time.

Or continue into Laughlin cross the river and continue straight on Bullhead Parkway and follow it around south back down to 95 and left into Needles or Golden Shores/Topock.

Loads of options scenic or not so scenic after reading this post everyone is going to be like what the heck so much info so confusing.

Westcoastbrit posted the most direct option

Mapquest shows Anthem as being near Phoenix, or is there another one?
How long does the whole trip from the Las Vegas airport take?
Thanks

I meant Anthem in Henderson. From the airport it is about 155 miles and keeping to the speed limit should take under two and a half hours.

We have driven that route many times and always take 95. Even with the new bridge etc. on 93, you often have the "Hoover Dam" traffic. It usually takes us around 2 l/4 hours from the Last Vegas Airport to LHC (North End)... sometimes less, sometimes a little more. The previous poster was correct about speed limits in Searchlight - it's a notorious speed trap - slow down!
