There's finally a storm in buckeye. It's raining and there's some good thundering going on. It's about 1:30pm now. Weather radar on fox10 shows nothing anywhere else but buckeye! It's about time we got something. You'd think everything was dead out here with no rain.

It's been raining in Estrella off and on all morning with thunder. Not much accumulation though.

The storm you are having at the moment does show up on radar. It is very small though so enjoy it while it lasts. Could be years before you see another one in Buckeye, LOL.

I don't have a rain gauge, but just guessing, from about 11 am to 11:30 am, it rained somewhere around .15"-.20" at my house in Estrella. There was some pretty good lightning, too... scared the dogs a little.

I have .09 for today, but it can vary quite a bit in a very short distance. Nicest thing is it is only low 90s so far. Hope it stays that way cuz it feels MUGGY out there.

They just put out a flood advisory for Gila Bend. The storms don't seem to be moving much. The cell near Buckeye looks like it is anchored there on radar.

That was a nice shower earlier out here! That was pretty unexpected. Very nice, and much needed. It didn't leave any dirt on my black truck either thank god, I just washed it 3 days ago. I also went and saw The Expendables at west gate. You gotta see it! It was too b/a to explain here. So far, it has been a great day.
