Hi there;
sorry about the ad, but I don´t know where I have to post it
I will be in Anchorage (eagle river) only the month of July, during my holidays of Spain.
The think is that I really need to learn english quickly (I understant more than I´m able to express), but I just have 30 days; so I need someone to teach me!!! (I prefer someone with studies but it is not completely necesary).
I´m thinking someone to teach me like 3 hours per day from Monday to Friday.. (on weekends I want to visit some of Alaska
); and not too much expensive per hour (The euro is falling right now!
, jeje)
So it will be 3hours/20 days=60 hours and for me the timetable is not a problem. I can adapt to your time!

lol - to do business with germans you need to be accepting of stubborn people that don't speak english
-- at least you are not doing business with the french
I would also try craigslist.com -- go the anchorage section. I would try to ask for someone studying to be a teacher to limit it from anyone saying they can teach you english
