Does anyone know of any recruiters or employment agencies in Anchorage that I can start contacting. I am expecting to arrive at Fort Richardson at the end of February. I want to start my job hunt early being that the economy is not in its best shape currently. I am currently working as a financial reporter and do SOX work. I have a bachelor's degree in accounting and will complete 150 hours to be elligible to sit for the CPA exam once I complete a CPA review course.

I've heard good things of this outfit before:

Alaska Executive Search, Inc.

Looks like they specialize in areas you may be interested in.

This is more like what I was looking for. Are there anymore recruiting firms in Anchorage, Alaska?

y2kat2003, have you read up about the requirements to get a CPA in Alaska? It's pretty strict even after you pass the exam.

I have not yet looked it up but I will. I am sure the requirements are strict. In Texas, after getting the certification, one must complete 40 hours a year of continuing professional education.
