My favorite vodka is Grey Goose, but lately I have been buying Kettle One, definitely a better value. I like it on the rocks with just a splash of OJ or this time of year to mix it with lemonade.
I love grey goose. It seems more pure so less hangover in the morning. ive had kettle one, and it's not bad either.
When one of my friends goes to russia, I have her bring me back volka. It middle of the road stuff there, but it's as smooth as water. Makes grey goose taste rough
Vodka distilled from potatoes is fine- some is distilled from Rye- most from Grain.
Findlandia is a real nice Vodka- top shelf at a good price.
Hanger 1 is a great American Vodka. Other great Gins-Boodles British-traditional London dry style- a New Gin- from California 'New Amsterdam' is very citrus tasting- not in the traditional style- its interesting.
I drink my martini's up-with some dry vermouth- chilled cocktail glass-with either olives, twist or onion technically called a 'Gibson'
Grey Goose is my favorite, although it's a rare treat due to the price.
Absolut is usually what i go with.
Svedka? Eh. I'd say it's drinkable.
Belvedere? I think i'd classify it as some people like to waste a lot of $$$$$ in a misplaced pursuit of vanity. JMHO.
There was a brand of gin I found in Georgia back in the seventies, my Army days. For the life of me can't remember the name! Had a white label with raised green lettering on it....remembering there were pine trees on it. Darn stuff smelled and tasted like turpentine and wish I had a pint now. Strictly for medicinal purpose of course.
