Are you thinking of Old Spice? Old Bay is primarily celery salt, which is an essential ingredient in a Bloody Mary. Anyway, Old Bay Bloody Marys are great. I was skeptical at first, but I'm convinced. I used jalapeno-infused vodka (make it yourself), Tabasco, Worcestershire Sauce, and tomato juice. I don't put horseraddish in my bloody marys.

Oh I was thinking of Bay Rum. Sorry.

Your drink sounds delicious. Except for the dearth of horseradish.

I'll put horseradish in the next Bloody Mary and give it a shot. It tends to overpower everything, though, which is why I go with lots of hot sauce instead.

I am still drinking water, but am about an hour away from having my first martini with my new olives. I don't know if I am more excited about the martini or the olives, maybe both.

I'm drinking a very generous helping of bourbon. I accidentally wandered into the Politics forum and I need to block out the memories.

well it is too early for the heavy stuff so it is still plain ole water. Before the water it was coffee, I drank enough this morning to sink a battle ship, so I am flying pretty high right now. In a couple of hours we will be watching our team play basketball, then out come the martini shaker or the wine bottle.

Captain Morgan Private Stock, on ice.

Never drank rum, or any liquor for that matter, by itself. A friend brought this by in thanks for a favor, and I tasted a bit and thought I'd try it on its own. Pretty good stuff. Could be just the gateway drug I've been looking for to get over my sissyness about drinking liquor straight (seriously, when your mother-in-law, of all people, is drinking good scotch and tequila and you're stuck with a wimpy cocktail, you kinda feel like a little kid).

ok, it is almost 3:30, we are having the kids for dinner, so I think I will open up a bottle of decent wine and get a little head start. The Lobster is about ready to cook, the steaks are marinating, so are the mushrooms, the salad is just a simple one with romaine, etc and the twice baked pots are all filled agin, so I deserve a drink? Right? oh and I even have my face paint on and my hair combed...
