I've noticed a resurgence of the dark and stormy on bar menus as of late. Personally, I use Gosling's rum.

I was sipping some Redbreast a bit ago.

Now I'm drinking some corn whiskey mixed with coke.

Default Beck's

I'm drinking a glass of Beck's beer which I poured from the glass bottle. Yuck! I bought a bottle because I want to use it in the bratwurst and sauerkraut dish I'm going make tomorrow for dinner and picked up a second bottle just to try it. I'm not even sure it was the best choice for the meal, but will work. Anyway, this stuff tastes like cheap "Miller High Life" to me, although it's been a very long time since I've had MHL. Admittedly, I'm not a beer person - I like wine and whiskey. But this crap seems like swill. Am I missing something???

^Last night I must not have been in the mood for beer, because today I gave the Beck's a whiff and sip and didn't think it was as terrible as I said. I think it's going to work well for the dish I'm in the process of cooking.

Anyway, to stay on topic:

Right now I'm drinking Bogle Sauvignon Blanc.

Nothing. This situation must be remedied.

Okay, now I have a Mexican Chocolate Porter I made a few months ago. Pretty tasty, if I say so myself.

Bourbon and diet creme soda while watching the Cotton Bowl. First time I've seen Johnny Manziel play.

Don't underestimate IC Light. It's not even a good beer.
