I drink rum, rum, and more rum. Tonight was a simple Myers and Diet at the local chinese restaurant while waiting for food. At home I have an expansive collection of rum which I sample from time to time
Cold Miller Lite. I went through the craft beer phase, and now I do not enjoy most of them, and no longer enjoy hops and bitterness, ( although some milk stouts, etc.. I will enjoy every now and then), but for a hot day, IMO nothing beats a nice cold domestic smooth refreshing lager.
Am just finishing a wonderful glass of Cab. I have to stop for now as we need to go and check on a frieds cat cause they are out of town. But when we get back I will have another glass or two. I love Sat and Sunday. They are my 3 glass of wine days and maybe even 4.

Agreed... some of the craft brewers are going to extremes to have the most unusual brew on the planet. Does anyone really want a brettanomyces Belgian dark witbier aged in used flower pots and infused with cucumber stems and alligator drool? Or the trend toward overly bitter beers (like Stone's Ruination, 150 IBUs, that's like the stuff one puts on shrubbery to keep the deer from eating them). The hipster craft brewers seem to have lost their focus.
I am having a Red Stripe, again, while watching my beloved Red Sox hopefully spank The Yankees. I do love Red Stripe. It might not win any awards but it is a very drinkable beer.
