just poured a glass of really crappy white wine I got from my wine club. I love the red so decided to try the white. Thank God I cook with wine, cause I sure ain't going to drink the stuff. I guess i will open another bottle, probably Chardonnay.I rarely drink white but it is hot and that seems like the best thing for me this afternoon.

I think I made this drink up but who knows?

1/2 sangria, 1/2 club soda over ice. Throw in some blueberries, and top with fresh basil and mint. The club soda keeps it from being too sweet. The basil and mint not only add a good taste but they make this very fresh drink smell fabulous!

Great summer drink and it's also pretty.

I've also made this with a cab and even once with a merlot.

Can't wait until this coming weekend......Breakfast/Peach Mimosa Party for the BIG family!
Seems like this kind of party goes over bigger than a cook-out! LOL

Recipe:
1 bottle of cheap champagne (750 mill)
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 can of peach nectar (Jumex)
Fresh peach slices for garnish
Serve in pretty flute glasses

I'm going to triple this (or +) and put it in my gallon fountain, that has a spout, and a removable bottom section for a ring of ice!
