Just wondering if any of you HDTV users have noticed a problem with Fox's audio while watching the games or some of your favorite shows. It seems like I've noticed (excessive) choppy audio going on for the past couple months, so I figured I'd ask if anyone else is having the same issue. I have limited basic cable (not digital) and do not seem to notice this on the other channels. I also have an HD antenna and see the same thing happening over the air. I appreciate any feedback you all may have. Thanks!

I haven't noticed it on fox with my Dish Network HD or the antenna. However I do have that problem occasionally on NBC.

Default HDTV channels

I have the problem with nbc and abc. Mostly abc (have not noticed it doing it on fox, but then i don't watch fox much). I have directv and they say nothing's wrong, but it'll get choppy once in a great while and is reaaaaaaaally aggravating...The 'digital' abc and nbc channels are fine, but it's always the HDTV channels that screw up...They think i'm just smokin too much of the good stuff because it never does it when they come to check it out lol

loboABQ, I know the feeling. it feels like every time I have a problem, it never seems to show up when the maintenance guy shows up.

Thanks for all the contributions--I will continue to investigate the problem on my own and see if I can resolve it. Maybe it's my setup, I don't know but I'll tinker with it til I get a result.

Next question: HD DVD or Blu-ray?

It could be from the DVR on your system. My hard drive crashed on my DVR and I called Dish to get a new one. They had me unplug the DVR, wait a minute, and plug it back in. It repaired the hard drive automatically. It has been working fine ever since. I occasionally get a choppiness but it is like once a week on different channels for only a few seconds. I always assumed it was the DVR but I guess it may not be.

I don't know if this was at all helpful but it's something to consider.
