Looking for a more modern/contemporary Catholic church- prefer Rio Rancho or west side but will travel for a good and welcoming, come as you are, church.

Our Lady Queen of Angels is a 'liberal" catholic church...it is an independent church. I know nothing else about it other than it is in Rio Rancho.

Liberal Catholic churches that are actually Catholic churches are hard to identify as Catholic churches are supposed to be uniform.

The best place to gain hints on "spins" might be the Diosecian Newsletter. The employment section can use code words like "Queen of Angels looking for a social director with the Spirit of Vatican II" (hint, hint). Or, in conservative contrast, "Saint Thomas Aquinas is looking for a youth minister versed in Humanae Vitae sp (hint, hint).

Why don't you just attend services in some of the churches in your area and find out first hand?
