An area like the Hoh rainforest in Olympic National Park...though , in Alaska, I suppose it would look like the Hoh rainforest on steroids. I realize this is a strange question but I just love the stuff. Thank you

According to CC, the most moss in Alaska is on my fish truck.

Lots of moss in the Tongass.

(Met, you got to get that truck fixed so it can outrun the moss...)

There is lots of Moss all over Southeast Alaska and parts of Southcentral along the Coastal areas due to cooler weather and massive amounts of rain. Even at Alyeska, just South of Anchorage, there is a lot of moss there due to the high rain/snow levels.

We don't get much in the interior, it is a bit warmer and drier in the summers. ON the otherhand, we do get lots of Tundra...

The important thing is is that it can outrun CC which it does quite easily.

Moss hanging down from the trees? Yeah, okay, the Tongass is it. But there is moss EVERYWHERE in Alaska. The interior tundra is full of it: Arctic moss, Caribou moss, sphagnum peat moss, etc.

Tundra Plants
