needing a room in barrow (rentals, hotel, utilities)

I've excepted a TSA job for willy post will rodgers...I know how difficult this has been for others...so I'm hoping to get started now and hope by March or April this could be taken care of...I'm exnavy and from Oklahoma...so this is a new and different experence...any suggestions would help...thanks!

Does TSA provide a room at the Airport Inn?

Whatever, it will be exceedingly difficult to come up with anything other than a hotel room until you are physically here. Most appartments are rented out by word of mouth and don't even get advertized locally.

You can call the information line for the radio station (KBRW) and listen to the advertizements. 907-852-INFO, which is probably the best bet.

Were you able to find a room? Could you give me some info, I may be accepting a job in Barrow and I am having trouble with finding info on rentals and cost of utilities?
