State law says you need an Alaska license for your vehicle when employed here.

Thank you for your service!

Here too. I've been seeing the same cars for years in my neighborhood with California plates.

Devin: Uhh, what are you doing here Stuart?

Stuart: I live here. I came up here to increase real estate cost and take away Alaskans’ guns. What are yooouu doing here, Devin?

Devin: I just thought I’d drop off this guacamole made with California Avocados from my tree.

Stuart: Thanks for the Guac, Devin, but you need to take the Glenn Highway to the Alaska Highway to the lower 48 and SoCal, then take Lincoln home to Marina del Rey.

The Californians

Palmer is a fine place and I have some fine friends that live there. Let me know when you get here and we can go get a beer somewhere.

One would think anyone from a high insurance state and the relocated would switch plates to the new one with lower rates!

Welcome and congrats on the house in Palmer! I live in Palmer and can't get to new houses fast enough. Good ones are under contract in a few days. Palmer is a nice place!

My Mom lived in Anchorage Alaska 7 years, working for Alyeska while they built the pipeline. She then spent 7 years warming up in Sierra Vista Arizona. She finally couldn't take the heat anymore and moved to Reno, where she lived anther 20 years until she passed. My daughter lives in Reno now. Glad you found a spot you like back near Anchorage.

More people in California voted Republican in the recent election than Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona combined.

California = 5,521,319 voted for Trump

Idaho = 554,128
Montana = 224,783
Utah = 840,163
Wyoming = 193,559
Colorado = 1,350,395
New Mexico = 401,334
Arizona = 1,659,274

So just because Californians are leaving and moving to other states does not mean its the "liberal"
ones as you infer. Lots of conservatives in California as well.
