According to UAF, it will be low. Maybe they haven't updated the forecast?
Aurora Forecast | Geophysical Institute

I saw a few last night but quite dim under the moonlight.

Usually between 1AM and 3AM is the best chance of seeing them in southcentral. I'm in Anchorage at the moment so may have to resort to shooting from out by the airport if they do show up.

Look at the short-term forecast. It says "High" on mine right now. Last time I saw them it was a 2 for the daily forecast and "high" for the short-term forecast, just like right now.

May torrential rains pour on you. 0 here in Bethel and windy. Clear though! I might have to go out and play later.

Thanks.

I just saw some beautiful Auroras at 9:30. But they were gone about 20 minutes later. Will keep an eye on the short-term forecast tonight. Thanks again.

Just checked my webcam back at the house. There is definitely an active display over Anchorage right now.

Salmon Cam in Fairbanks was going crazy earlier, quietened down now but is still showing as very active.
