No planes for me, I'm not that rich. I had fun though, ran into a couple of friends there. One flies the Guard Blackhawk and the other flies the Sherpa. I also ran into four people from Bethel.

Thanks for the pictures warptman....the turbine Beaver N754 is a 1965, relatively new for a Beaver

Bolt on a turbine and amphib floats and you have a 1.5 million dollar aircraft well suited to Alaska flying...

And it is the only Beaver on the planet with a Garret Jet-turbine engine. It belongs to the US Fish & Wildlife.

oh.... a Garret, isn't that an upgrade thats only done by an outfit in Canada ?

Vernon British Columbia....Kal Air is currently the only outfit that has the certs to do these Garrett conversions

To my knowledge, I think its the only one with the Garret.

This is a Super Otter, has a Texas Turbine conversion, 900HP turning a 4-bladed Hartzell prop.

she do have a big exhaust outlet doesn't she....

noticeably different on the Beaver also I see....much different than a PT-6

I just spent an hour looking at the pictures on the Kal-Air site.....did you look at the ones in Misc...?
