I think if South Africans could feel comfortable with having a white leader, I think Helen Zille would be a amazing President.

My hope is that the ANC loses the election, and in a way allowing South Africa to truly move on from the past.

I think South Africans should give Zille and the Democratic Alliance a chance! I have been following Helen Zille for several years now and I think she has what it takes.

She clearly loves her country more than the current governing ANC does.

The ANC had a time and a place, but really doesn't fit the mold of being good governors

Zuma is a disaster. The reality is that regardless of what a great leader Zille would make, Apartheid is just too recent memory for many to vote for a white President.

The ANC's strength lies in continuing to try to divide the country by race. Zuma should be impeached. He reminds me of George W. Bush. Both arrogant, dumb and a crook.

If it's Zille's race, then maybe this guy needs to be next in line to lead the party. He is apparently running for Premier of Gauteng.

Mmusi Maimane does seem to be the real deal.

He also seems invested in the party's mission. I'd be skeptical about a few of those former mid-level ANC leaders who have jumped to the DA. Can't help but to think that maybe some are only looking out for their careers and see a better opportunity in the DA to be promoted than the ANC
