I wonder if they've done comparisons of percentages. Also what counts as 'homeless', what about illegal shanty-towns which are in many third world cities? Soweto or Kiberia both have in excess of one million residents.
Why do you think African cities have more homeless people that cities on other continents? How do you define homeless? Is a person homeless if he sleeps in a cardboard box? Is a person homeless if he sleeps in a mcmansion that is underwater and months behind on mortgage payments?
People who want to intrude in the lives of all of us here by opening a thread should at least take ten seconds out of their busy lives to define their terms.
probably non-African 3rd World cities. BTW, How do you define homeless?! Homeless in "our" Western sense? A lot of people in poor countries are homeless practically.
New York City, Mumbai, Karachi, Shanghai, Beijing, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Dhaka, Jakarta?
Wierd question !!!
