So i clicked the report icon at the top left to report a post where a derogitory word was used towards someone. It hasn't been taken off and i was wondering what i should do.

thank you for any suggestions. I took advise and was told this is the propper way to report an offensive message to a member but it doesn't seam to be working.

You're doing everything right! The moderators are volunteers and have real lives to live, so whichever mod would be dealing with your report is not necessarily seeing your notice right away.

However, your notice has been sent to the mod of that forum, and the mod will look at the post just as soon as they can come back to their City-Data life! Have heart!

thank you for the response. I hope they do take care of it. I hink the mods in the automotive forum are pretty cool anyway, just hoping they notice.
