You want an area where only you (of the "non-mods") can participate with the moderators in the topic you've created?

Allow me to rephrase:

You want a forum area where only you can interact with moderators on a topic you have created, because you can't discern whom is a moderator?

If you only want to converse with moderators, you're welcome to use DM. There is no rule forbidding anyone from responding here if they know the answer or feel they have something to add. Moderators' names are in bold and they have a star next to it if it helps anything.

Check out my screen name and my star...I 'm one of the moderators.

There are many of us, scattered across the globe. So we sleep at different times, work in different occupations and may have different views on events.

I cannot discern the "bolding" compared to a member username [EDIT: actually I can see it now, while signed in]. When a member is signed-in, they can see forum titles for a moderator (and the two "Senior" moderators) below the username. The "star" tip is not completely correct, both you and "Yac" do not have a star (although the forum title tells your position, and the username is in a red font color).
