I've looked around in the forum and cannot find any instructions on how to post one of the smilies in a rep comment.

Will you direct me to the instructions, please?

Here is an super easy way to do this.
1- Open "Send New Message". (This is also called a DM or PM).
....To the right of the blank message is the smilies available.
2. Select a Smilie and click on it.
.....The code will automatically be added to the blank message (You don't see the Smilie)
3- Copy & paste the code to your rep comment. Send
.

Here's an example. You want to add the "Thumbs Up" Smilie.to the rep

Type your message in the rep comment box. Add the code. In this case it is
: ok : l with no spaces or periods. Send your rep.

This is wnat the reader sees: Your comment

PS: it is always more complicated to write simple directions than it is make the cake.

The ones the forum has set for defaults are the ones that will work in the rep box; there are 19 which can be used at the present time (note the date of this post):

That's one idea but how about bookmarking this link and just copying and pasting into the rep field as needed?

Let's use this one instead as it's updated. Thanks, Chatteress!

If you "go advanced" on a post and click on the white smiley at the top of the page..Then click on the blue bar (show all smiley's) in the bottom of the box it will give you the list of smiley's and how to type them.
