I'm glad Sunny brought this up. I've noticed over the past few days that Firefox is not being as well-behaved as it once was. When I quote a post, I am unable to make part of it BOLD to emphasize the part that my reply addresses. Smiley buttons do not work either. Firefox is 3.6.10. I'll be watching this thread for suggestions.

The problems FireFox users are reporting with C-D have me perplexed. I've used FireFox exclusively since joining C-D, and have experienced none of these problems. I don't doubt for a minute that people are reporting real problems, but I wonder if there might be other factors that are contributing to or causing the problems.

For example, the only operating system I've used while accessing C-D has been Windows XP. Perhaps it's a combination of web browser and operating system that is causing some members to have problems?

I have the latest firefox as well and while I haven't experienced the problems Sunny has pointed out, I have noticed it acting, well, wonky for a lack of better description.

It functions, but pages hesitate while loading at some times but not at others and it will often load "half a page", pause, then load the other half 5-8 seconds later. The fact that this is not consistent has me rather baffled.

I do run a lot of security add ons like noscript, and flash block, etc... so I have a lot of ancillary things to check through.

Come to think of it, I cannot view moderator avatars or sigs when signed in, but they show just fine when I'm logged out. *shrugs* got me
