    Observation: The nonfood-contact surfaces of the following equipment were observed soiled with an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and/or other debris: OBSERVED ICE CHEST FREEZER WITH ACCUMULATION OF FOOD RESIDUE AND IN NEED OF THOROUGH CLEANING.
    Correction: Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue and other debris to maintain a sanitary work environment and prevent pest attraction.
  • Food-Contact Surface of Cooking & Baking Equipment Cleaned Every 24 Hours
    Observation: The food-contact equipment surface of the WAFFLE MAKER is observed soiled with accumulations of grime and debris. OBSERVED ACCUMULATIONS ON EXTERIOR SURFACE OF WAFFLE MAKER.
    Correction: The food-contact surfaces of cooking and baking equipment shall be cleaned at least every 24 hours.

The purpose of this visit is a routine inspection. Facility noted in a neat and orderly condition. A follow-up will be conducted within 30 business days to check on the presence of a Certified Food Manager as agreed upon between EHS and manager. A thirty day allowance has been granted as the employee needs time to study. Follow-up on or about 5/8/2014.
  • Critical: Certified Food Manager/Presence Required (corrected on site)
    Observation: There is no Certified Food Manager present at the beginning of the inspection.
    Correction: Certified food manager arrived within 20 minutes after the beginning of the inspection. It shall be unlawful to operate a food establishment unless it is under the immediate control of a certified food manager. It is highly suggested that you have more than one employee with the food manager's license. ORS Interactive, Inc. (see handout provided) issues the required photo identification card with proof of successful completion of a certified food manager's exam. Failure to have a certified food manager on site during ALL hours of operation including food preparation, food service, and cleaning/sanitizing of equipment/utensils will result in closure of the establishment.
