    Observation: The quat test strips when opened were discolored and disintegrated (being stored under the sink)..
    Correction: Obtain a new Quat test kit so that employees can accurately monitor the concentration of the sanitizing solutions and maintain them at a safe and effective level.
  • Critical: Handwashing - Using a Handwashing Lavatory* (corrected on site)
    Observation: Observed employees using the hand sink to rinse dirty utensils. Discussed using 3 compartment sink and only using the hand sink for handwashing.
    Correction: Discontinue to use the automated handwash station for @LOCATION@. This station must be used in accordance with the manufacturers operating procedures.

    Observation: The test kit located in the facility for monitoring the concentration of the chemical sanitizing solutions was discolored (blue) and no longer accurate.
    Correction: Obtain a new test kit so that employees can accurately monitor the concentration of the sanitizing solutions and maintain them at a safe and effective level.
  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: The hand towel dispenser located at the hand washing sink near the service line was observed in a state of disrepair and/or damaged.
    Correction: Repair the hand towel dispenser to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. If unable to repair the hand towel dispenser, replace it with one that meets the specifications of Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter.
