    Observation: Ice scoop stored immediately adjacent to hand wash sink in kitchen.
    Correction: Store ice scoop out of splash of the hand wash sink.

  • Critical: Hands - When to Wash* (corrected on site)
    Observation: Staff not washing hands before putting on gloves.
    Correction: Need to wash hands when change gloves or when intially put on gloves, to avoid contamination of gloves from soiled hands.
  • Cloths - Wiping Cloths - Use Limitation
    Observation: Wiping cloths improperly stored between use.
    Correction: Ensure wet wiping cloths are stored in a chemical sanitizer at the proper concentration between use.
  • Equipment, Utensils, Linens, and Single-Service and Single-Use Articles
    Observation: Cardboard box of utensils and kitchen tools were found stored on the floor in dry storage room. Boxes of single-service utensils, stored open, on the floor in the dry storage room.
    Correction: Store kitchen utensils and tools and sigle-service utentils in a clean, dry location where not exposed to splash, dust or other contamination at least 6 inches above the floor.
  • Handwashing - Using a Handwashing Lavatory - No Other Purpose (corrected on site)
    Observation: The handwash station in the kitchen is being used for purposes other than washing hands. At pan and two ice scoops are being stored in base of handwash sink.
    Correction: The handwash facility identified above is to be used for washing hands only

When I renew the food service permit I will change the permit from "Child Care Food Service" to "Full Service Restuarant /Caterer"
