    Observation: The temperature measuring device located in the reach-in refrigerator was not working properly.
    Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device that is operational.

    Observation: Working containers/ spray bottle was not properly labeled stored under the sink.
    Correction: Working containers of toxic items are to be properly labeled with contents. Identification of these containers with the common name of the material helps prevent the dangerous misuse of the contents.

    Correction: Provide at least 10 foot candles at a distance of 30 inches from the floor in the walk-in refrigeration units and dry storage areas and in other areas and rooms during periods of cleaning.

    Observation: Toilet room doors are being kept open.
    Correction: Keep toilet room doors closed except when cleaning or during maintenance operations to prevent insect and rodent entrance and the associated potential for the spread of disease.

    Observation: The handsink in the employee rest-room is not sealed to adjoining equipment or walls.
    Correction: Seal the unit to adjoining equipment or walls since it is exposed to spillage or seepage.

    Correction: Provide a sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands at all handwashing lavatories used by food employees.

    Correction: Replace or calibrate thermometer.

    Observation: Interior cabinet below microwave oven (see right corner) not clean.
    Correction: Clean.
  • Outer Openings - Protected
    Observation: Mesh screen torn on vent in mechanical room.
    Correction: Repair/replace mesh.
  • Pests - Controlling Pests*
    Observation: Few rodent droppings observed on right ledge of storage closet.
    Correction: Clean to remove and monitor for new activity.
