Kitchen appears clean. Handsink stocked with soap/towels. Employee wearing gloves when handling ready to eat foods. Employee health policy is available and staff is knowledgeable. All meals are prepared just before service. No leftover are used in facility. Discussed storage of raw shell eggs (utilized by teaching staff for school projects) below all other foods to minimize opportunity for cross-contamination and removing or relocating all unapproved insecticides from shared utility room. School is planning kitchen remodel at end of 2014. Please submit plans to health department prior to any work being done. Insure that food-grade ceiling tiles are included in remodel.

Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the metal dish rack at the end of the 3 compartment sink and some of the shelves and bottom of the reach-in refrigerator has rust on them..
Correction: Repair and/or replace the surface to preclude accumulation of rust so they are easily cleanable.
