Dishwashing facilities were being maintained properly. No food temperature problems were observed.
  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: The floor mat in front of the three compartment sink is cracked on top, and is no longer resistant to moisture.
    Correction: Floor mats in kitchens must be smooth and easily cleanable at the bacterial level. This mat needs to be replaced. We suggest using thick rubber mats (the restaurant supply type with the holes in them. These rubber mats protect the heels, while also being moisture resistant, and easily cleanable at the bacterial level.)
  • Handwashing - Using a Handwashing Lavatory (corrected on site)
    Observation: The kitchen handwashing sink was obstructed from use at the time of inspection. Employee items were placed directly in front of the handwashing sink.
    Correction: All handwashing sinks must be unobstructed, and available for easy use for handwashing at all times. We need to do everything possible to encourage frequent, and whenever necessary handwashing. This violation was immediately corrected by the establishment management.
  • Hand Drying Provision
    Observation: There were no paper towels near the kitchen handwashing sink.
    Correction: We require that there be paper towels at all handwashing sinks. (The electric blower type of hand dryer is equally acceptable.) We need to do everything possible to encourage frequent, and whenever necessary, handwashing.
