No hot water complaint was found to be valid. During inspection no hot water was produced on site. Spoke with the PIC and he stated that it would be restored by Monday. He would set up a boiling water system in a cooler for hand washing and dishwashing. Place is scheduled to close down on Decemeber 22nd, 2015. Owner stated that the hot water heater has been operational intermittently, but chef on site admitted that the hot water heater has been inoperable since August.

    Observation: Improper handwashing procedures observed.
    Correction: Ensure all food employees clean their hands and exposed portions of their arms with a cleaning compound in a lavatory by vigorously rubbing together the surfaces of their lathered hands and warms for at least 20 seconds and thoroughly rinsing with clean water.

Due to sewage clean out tank the patio bar area is restricted from use. Public and employee access must be blocked off and restricted for entry. Further no food prep, dining, or storage etc. may take place in this area that is restricted from use.

Note: The holding tank for the sewage will be pumped and monitored as needed by a licensed plumber. Plumber will fax agreement to health department stating monitoring schedule and service agreement . The plumber will also fax to the health department on a weekly basis a log detailing pumping services.To keep water usage to a minimum the restaurant has agreed to use single service utensils until permanent repairs have been made. Restaurant agrees to voluntarily suspend operations if sewage is not properly conveyed to public sewage system. Area where pumping chamber is located will be made off limits to patrons and restaurant employees. Repairs to the broken sewer lines are in process.
