    Observation: Observed a hose attached to a faucet fixture. The hose extended below the flood rim level of the sink basin.
    Correction: Install an approved backflow prevention device or alter the length of the hose to provide the necessary separation between the water supply and the flood rim level of the sink basin. The minimum allowable separation distance must be at least 2x the diameter of the water supply inlet and at least 1 inch.
  • Refuse - Covering Receptacles (repeated violation)
    Observation: Dumpster or outside refuse container was open or uncovered.
    Correction: Cover all waste containers when not in continuous use.
  • Outer Openings - Protected (repeated violation)
    Observation: Outer opening of the food establishment is not protected against entry of insects and rodents. Screen door with gap and screen rip at seam.
    Correction: Protect the food establishment against the entry of insects and rodents by 1. Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings, 2. Closed, tight fitting windows, and 3. Solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Insects and rodents are vectors of disease-causing microorganisms which may be transmitted to humans by contamination of food and food-contact surfaces.
