FAcility serves a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Lunch and beverage for lunch provided by Feedmore. Items delivered cold one day in advance. Receiving temperatures are taken. Facility then reheats food for service. Facility provides snacks. All items served on styrofoam plates, bowls or cups with plastic utensils as well. The only items washed, rinsed and sanitized are serving utensils and special utensils used by some participants. Discussed reheating temperatures and no bare hand contact. Temperature logs observed. Hanover Adult kitchen: Food received from Feedmore daily cold. Food is placed in RIC to keep cold until food is reheated. Reheated slowly from 7:45 - 10am at 250 degrees and then from 10 - 12pm at 325 to reach a hot temperature. Temperature logs observed for receipt of food and then at time of service (cold and hot) This side services @ 30 people. Linking Lives kitchen serves@ 24 Intellectually disabled clients. They bring their own lunches. Snacks are provided on both sides. Discussed handwashing, glove use and no bare hand contact. Facility uses a residential style under the counter hot water dishmachine for utensils and cups. Utilizes bleach for coffee cup cleaning.
